Account information you give us: your name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash).

Birth information you give us: birth date, birth time (optional), and birth location. This data is what makes a personalized reading possible. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.

Your readings: the questions you ask, the readings Aether generates for you, and your chat conversations. We retain these so you can revisit them.

Payment information: handled exclusively by Stripe. Cosmica never sees or stores your card number, CVC, or full bank details. We retain a Stripe customer ID and the last four digits of cards for receipt purposes only.

Basic usage telemetry: pages visited, errors encountered, and aggregated event counts. We do not sell or rent this data.

To compute your charts (Western astrology, BaZi, I Ching) and generate the readings you request.

To deliver the daily brief and reading-ready emails you opt into.

To process payments and manage your subscription.

To improve product quality — debugging errors, fixing astrology edge cases, refining Aether's voice. Any review of personal data for this purpose is restricted to a small team and never shared externally.

You. You can read, export, or delete any of your readings from your dashboard.

Cosmica's small operations team, only when necessary for support or debugging.

Service providers we depend on: Cloudflare (hosting + database), Google Gemini (the model that generates your reading text), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email). Each is contractually bound to confidentiality.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not train external AI models on it.

Account, profile, and readings: retained while your account exists.

Payment records: retained for the period required by tax and accounting law (typically seven years).

Telemetry logs: rotated within 90 days.

When you delete your account, we erase your profile, charts, and readings within 30 days. Some payment records and aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be retained per legal requirements.

Update your profile or change your email at any time from your dashboard.

Unsubscribe from the daily brief or any other email at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.

Request a copy of your data, or request deletion, by writing to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

You may close your account at any time. Closure removes your readings and chart history.

Cosmica is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

Cosmica's data is processed on Cloudflare's global infrastructure, which routes traffic to the nearest data center. Database storage is in Cloudflare D1.

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
